Rule 37
Punishment for non-implementation of approved curriculum and textbooks or for purchase of textbooks
(1) If any school does not implement the approved curriculum and textbook, the District Education Officer shall order the concerned principal to implement such curriculum or textbook.
(2) No school shall compel a student to purchase textbooks from the school.
(3) If the principal does not use the approved curriculum or textbook in the school in accordance with the order given under sub-rule (1) or if he forces the students to buy the textbook from the school, the district education officer will punish such principal according to the law.
